What We Do

Often times people ask what the difference is between Public
Relations (PR) and Advertising.  Here is the simple answer:

  • ·         PR uses both mass media and interpersonal modes of
communication to convey its message.  Its effect can often
spiral into more and more media opportunities.
  • ·        Advertising is a set amount of space or time in the
media to get the intended message across.  Its effect is
    usually short-lived.

Benefits of Public Relations
A Public Relations company is used to explain an organization’s
actions or products to its audience or the general public.  Many
times a PR representative will interact with various media outlets
(newspapers, magazines, Internet, television and/or radio) to make
a business’ events or expertise known publicly.

The reason PR is of value to a business is its ability to send a
targeted message and follow up with a personal touch.  In this way
- PR is better for the company that needs its message guided
through the media channels.  The keen public relations “hands on”
approach ensures that the intended message gets where it’s going
and can be followed up for a good end result (i.e. POSITIVE MEDIA
ATTENTION).
